Cultural sector website tender won for Voices of Leysdown arts and urban renewal project…
‘Voices of Leysdown’ is part of an arts and urban renewal project for the town of Leysdown on the Isle of Sheppey. ‘Voices of Leysdown’ features a programme of intergenerational workshops activities, using story-telling and writing, image, sound recording and interviewing to engage a large number of community members of Leysdown to explore their perceptions and recollections of the village. Material gained from these workshops will contribute to a digital archive of Leysdown stories that can be accessed online via a new dedicated website.
