As part of the design package for CIC, we specified the interior colours and finishes, designed and produced signage and artwork for the building. In fact, we were involved with the architects from the centre’s ‘green field’ stage and advised on the exterior finishes. Our branding colours have been used throughout the project, including the vertical blinds, which help create a strong sense of identity for the building’s exterior.

Canterbury Innovation Centre is situated in a wonderful piece of parkland on the University campus. Using the plan of the site, we created a radiating set of lines that templates directly on the building’s layout. Radiating over the city centre below, the logo’s lines resemble the idea of a wireless signal symbol. We reflected the brand colours in the unit blinds, wall art, wall colours and furniture.
