Ignition Gallery Identity
Nebulo Strata were asked to develop a promotional package for The Joiners Shop, a showcase centre for creative business at Chatham’s Historic Dockyard in Kent. The Ignition Gallery, part of the Center’s awareness strategy, provided a wonderful venue for prominent artists to show work. The exhibitions ran throughout a series of inspirational events that we named ‘The Business Of Creativity’.

The Joiners Shop Identity
Nebulo Strata was invited to be part of the design team to work on the development and promotion of a new centre for creative business in North Kent. The Joiners Shop, a multi-partner project between Chatham Historic Dockyard Trust, SEEDA and Basepoint Developments required the full gamut of our studio’s skills. As part of the project we designed a brand that is sympathetic to the Dockyard’s history. Keeping the name of the building’s original function, the typographic logo was extracted from direct observation of historic elements within the dockyard itself. A supporting pattern element was developed from the wonderful cast iron bracketing inside the building.
